Rec-to-rec firm Futura has gone carbon neutral.

Emissions were cut at the Altrincham-based firm through a combination of internal changes (such as movement sensistive lighting, increased recycling and adopting low-carbon vehicles) along with some carbon offsetting.

The Carbon Neutral Company audited all of Futura’s emissions, including those from energy consumption, waste and business travel.

Through offsetting, every tonne of CO2 that Futura emits is matched by an equivalent amount saved by a project somewhere else in the world.
