Freelance contractors and consultants are reporting an increase in enquiries as the England football team progresses through the World Cup.

Phil Lowe of people4business.com said: “Whether it’s the result of legitimate holiday or employees taking a sickie, anecdotal evidence from our registered freelancers suggests businesses are planning more actively to ensure they have the cover they need in the coming weeks.”
