The first-ever UK e-recruitment guide specific to the retail sector will be launched on August 1.

‘Retailers’ guide to e-recruitment’ is obtainable from Hire Strategists, specialists in the field, and is available in two versions - hardback and electronic. The guide is backed by Jobpartners and Retailhomepage.co.uk, both providing a range of unbiased content. The guide aims to explain the ‘ins and outs’ of online recruiting.

Managing director of Hire Strategies Peter Gold explained: “I have been working in recruitment for more than 20 years and the knowledge I have acquired over the years is invaluable - my reason for writing this guide is to answer many of the questions I am asked almost every day.”

Sections within the guide are written by a number of specialist contributors and explore the foundations of recruiting and the internet, how to attract potential applicants to your job advert, which job boards to use, e-recruitment systems and how to use them effectively.
