More than eight in 10 business leaders are finding today’s economic climate more difficult than in the recession, according to a survey from independent management consultant Berkshire Consultancy.

More than eight in 10 business leaders are finding today’s economic climate more difficult than in the recession, according to a survey from independent management consultant Berkshire Consultancy.

The survey also shows that 81% of senior decision makers believe today’s climate is tougher than during the recession, while 86% believe they lack the skills needed to steer their business through the recovery.

Almost half (49%) think growth is unachievable this year and 73% fear cost control is now hampering growth opportunities for the business.
