Financial services executives urged to start jobs search now

Financial services executives need to start their job search now rather than wait until the New Year, according Nicole Ghiani, managing director, Executive-Jobs-London.

Financial services executives need to start their job search now rather than wait until the New Year, according Nicole Ghiani, managing director, Executive-Jobs-London.

This would allow them to steal a march on the competition to capitalise on the recent wave of redundancies that have created new opportunities within the industry.

Ghiani says: “Credit Suisse, Standard Bank and JP Morgan have all made redundancies in recent weeks which has made many people think that the financial sector continues to remain fragile. But it isn’t. There are currently a number of senior executive job opportunities currently available within the City across a range of firms, from smaller private consultancies to large-scale multi-national organisations.

“There is still plenty of hiring taking place in the City as we move towards the end of the year. While the pace of hiring has slowed down in many sectors, the finance sector is recruiting once more. The time to make the change is now.”
