Online financial-jobs marketplace eFinancialCareers.com has set up an interactive centre for finance students keen to pursue a career in the sector.

European marketing director Joel Davis, European marketing director of eFinancialCareers.com, told Recruiter the emphasis was on direct recruiters. Although the site is used by companies such as Michael Page and Robert Walters, agencies do not tend to be major recruiters of fresh graduates.

The site's new features include numerical tests, which may help determine a student's suitability for a career in financial services. The site also offers advice on how to land an internship or graduate training programme.
