Demand for risk, audit and compliance jobs rises dramatically
Despite reports of heavy job cuts, recruitment freezes and redundancies in the finance sector, demand for finance professionals specialising in risk, audit and compliance has dramatically increased.  This is according to data from specialist financial jobsite GAAPweb.com.

New data from GAAPweb shows that over the past six months, vacancies for credit risk analysts has increased by over a third (34%) whilst demand for compliance specialists has almost doubled (42%).

Nicola Forde, web site manager at GAAPweb.com said: “Despite the gloomy headlines, we’re seeing each day about redundancies being made in the financial sector, it’s encouraging to see that there is still a demand for specialist roles within the industry. We’re finding that the greater focus on the industry from both the regulators and wider government has increased demand for compliance professionals and risk analysts.”
