Most finance and accounting departments anticipate rising revenues but are encountering problems recruiting skilled professionals.

This is the result of new research from finance, accounting, HR and office support staffing specialist Poolia.

The survey shows 57% of firms predict revenue growth, while 40% expect an increase in projects in the new year, with over 30% anticipating growth in headcount, though 17% predict further redundancies in 2011.

Firms also report difficulties in recruiting skilled finance and accounting employees, with 38% having problems recruiting managerial levels and 40% transactional clerks.
