Halifax-based transport and industrial recruitment firm, Resource — Transline, blew away all competition in Round 2 of the Daytona Manchester Business Cup, a four-round series of endurance karting races to find the fastest business in the North of England.

A regular visitor to karting venue Daytona for private functions, Resource — Transline director Jon Taylor is impressed with this new date in the business calendar. He said: “It’s been a fantastic evening as we have bonded with our customers in a team situation and strengthened our commercial relationship. Our clients are actually starting to pester us to come. It’s no longer optional!”

Having entered three teams on the night, the recruiters and their clients dominated the 12-team event. With finishes of first, second and fifth, their experience on the track told and they now go in to Round 3 on 24 February in the lead with 197 laps completed.
