Special Agent works to recruit exam professionals

Special Agent, the specialist non-teaching, education recruitment consultancy, is working with the Examination Officers’ Association (EOA) to support the recruitment and professional development of exam office personnel.

The role of an examination officer has previously fallen to teaching staff, but this has changed dramatically in recent years with non-teaching staff now forming over 70% of all examination office personnel.

Special Agent will be offering EOA membership for examination office personnel placed in appropriate roles in the UK and across the world. The organisations will also be working together at events across the UK to provide a forum for examination officers to discuss their development needs and to give advice and guidance to new recruits.

Andrew Harland, chief executive of the EOA, says: “The education exam community is now more aware of the crucial role an examination officer plays within the exam system, as such, we are committed to developing and placing better qualified and professional personnel in the right positions to meet the needs of education institutions, through this association with Special Agent.”
