Synergie Group reveals annual figures
Synergie Group, the majority owner of UK recruitment and training company Acorn, has announced a 29% increase in pre-tax profit for the first quarter of 2007.
For the three months ending March 2007, Synergie’s turnover was €263.3m (£179.7m), a 13.5% increase on the figure of €231.9m (£158.3m) for the corresponding period in 2006. Income before taxes was €7.3m (£5.0m), increasing 29% on last years €5.6m (£3.8m).
Matt Southall, managing director of Acorn says: “This is further evidence of the quality of the parent company we have in Synergie, and it is pleasing to see the strategic impact Acorn’s UK business is continuing to have on the success of the wider Group.”
