European business professionals’ satisfaction with their employer’s Employment Value Proposition (EVP) has fallen by an average of 14% since the end of 2006, according to a new report from the Corporate Executive Board (CEB).

The report, based on a survey of 30,000 business professionals across Europe, also reveals that working on projects that align with professionals’ personal interests is now the most important driver for employee engagement. In contrast, in 2006 this was ranked as only the tenth most important driver.

Colleague quality has increased in its importance, rising from being 17th most important factor to fourth over the past three years.
