Companies are failing to engage their staff according to new research
UK businesses are failing to fully engage with their employees, according to a survey from Ibis Communication.
The study found that 13% of employees believe that they are fully engaged with the organisation they work for. It found that the problem is greatest among public sector employees; with a third saying they were actively disengaged.
The report said senior managers and directors are more engaged than other employees, and that engagement weakens significantly as you move down through the organisational hierarchy.
