Law firm Emmetts Solicitors is to recruit 100 new legal and administrative personnel within 12 months, according to new head of HR, Charles Crookall.

Crookall says: “Emmetts is a great place to work. There are some really talented people here. It’s young. It’s vibrant. It’s entrepreneurial. And that’s why we’re urging anyone seeking out their next employment challenge in the legal sector to get in touch and build their career with Emmetts.

“It’s important that people have the ability and desire to work for a firm like Emmetts. We’re young in terms of both our history and our age profile. We need a broad range of people from those at the start of their careers to people with significant experience.

“But above all, we want people who are going to thrive in very vibrant and challenging environment.”

Crookall joins Emmetts after recently working for law firm Halliwells. Before that, he managed HR departments for The Highways Agency, KPMG Consulting and Prudential Insurance.
