Elite Leaders members to join APSCo
Members of the peer-to-peer business learning forum Elite Leaders are set to join the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) from March, according to a press release posted on APSCo’s site.
The move sees APSCo membership grow from 146 members in January 2009 to nearly 250 members at the beginning of this year.
John O’Sullivan, managing director of Elite Leaders (right), joins the board of APSCo, while Ann Swain, chief executive of APSCo, will become non-executive director of Elite Leaders.
Elite Leaders members will become full APSCo members as part of the annual fee they already pay to Elite.
APSCo adds that its staff are in the process of checking references before the new members can be admitted.
O’Sullivan says: “Joining APSCo will bring many exciting new additions to the range of benefits we bring to our member companies. I want my members to share in those benefits and I am prepared to pay for them to do so.”
Swain adds: “I’m delighted to welcome the Elite community into APSCo and I’m looking forward to working with John and the Elite Board to further enhance the programmes they’ve been developing.
“There’s no doubt that companies who have been in the Elite programme have acquired a great deal of expertise which will be of enormous benefit to APSCo members.”
