A new job board dedicated to the recruitment needs of the social care sector, ecarers.com, has been launched.

Sales manager Shelia Nakra says: “This is the first time anyone has attempted to get to the heart of the recruitment issues facing the social care sector and provide a cost effective solution for all.

“The site will contain a wide range of information for candidates and employers, plus a forum to stimulate discussion on issues such as mental health and young people living in residential care.”

The site will have temporary and permanent jobs, full and part-time positions available with local authorities, the private sector, the voluntary sector, recruitment agencies and advertising agencies.
