Service to provide permanent staff
Driver Hire has become one of a small number of driver and logistics agencies to launch a service to provide permanent staff.
Traditionally, haulage and logistics providers will only use recruiters for temporary staff, preferring to advertise for permanent staff in the local press.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire-based Driver Hire said the service “will be aimed at smaller haulage firms that have no personnel department, where it will help cut the cost and time burden of the recruitment process.”
Driver Hire’s database will cover drivers and related transport and logistics staff, including traffic office staff; transport and logistics managers; depot managers; warehousemen; pickers and packers.
