Directors Aisling Murray and Jayne Beardshaw have completed a management buyout (MBO) of Hull-based recruiter The PSR Group.

The pair bought out the company from managing director Geoff Painter, who has left the recruitment industry “to fly helicopters”, Murray said.

The new firm will be known as Beardshaw Murray Limited and will continue to supply recruitment services to a number of sectors in the north Humberside region.

The directors raised the capital for the MBO through a business loan and assistance from Cattles Invoice Finance.

When asked why they decided on an MBO, Murray said: “When the managing director decided to leave the business, both Jayne and I could see the potential for the company to develop and we also wanted to serve the loyal client base.”
