Digital video interviewing (DVI) has been introduced to the UK by Digital Video Interviewing Services. DVI is commonly used in America.

Catriona Ryan, managing director of Digital Video Interviewing Services, said: “This is set to revolutionise the way people recruit. The ability to view a candidates profile online, listening to how they answer pre-set interview questions, will ensure employers know they have candidates with the right personality fit prior to spending time in a traditional interview setting.”

The DVI service has already been used by technology recruiter Penta Consulting.
