Salaries in the digital sector have risen by 3.8% in H2 on last year, according to research from digital staffing specialist Propel.

The research reveals average salaries in user experience & information architecture were the highest surveyed, while average salaries in mobile were also among the highest as brands and agencies rapidly increase their activities in this area.

Marketing manager Phil Haslehurst says: “The future of the digital industry is full of virtually limitless potential for success – as professionals, as businesses and as a whole sector. The key to unlocking that potential is to build a workforce that is highly skilled, commercially viable, and above all else satisfied and genuinely passionate about the digital space.

“Understanding the salary landscape is one significant part of that process, and one we hope is helped by this survey.”
