The Criminal Records Bureau has extended its contract with Capita Group to continue to provide its Disclosure Service under a PPP agreement for a further 12 months from the end of March 2012 until March 2013.

This is to enable the CRB and the Independent Safeguarding Authority to conduct and complete a joint procurement exercise to address the future shape and delivery of the service under a new single organisation, the Disclosure and Barring Service, and to meet the needs of its users for the longer term.
