Grafton Recruitment is to use products provided by Topaz Solutions for functions such as credit control and sales ledger modules, as it moves towards an all-Ireland operation. This will help it share critical data across its 26 branches throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic. Previously Grafton used Pegasus Opera in the north and Exchequer in the South.

Insurance intermediary A Quote said it is working with right4staff to recruit additional sales advisers and customer support staff at its Hampshire customer service hub. A Quote, part of Highway Insurance, has been a client of right4staff for several years. Other major clients of the firm include BMW, Unisys, United Biscuits, BAT and Bournemouth City Council.

Online recruitment business eFinancialCareers.com may be about to be sold to US-based online recruitment group Dice.com. Sources said Dice's offer values the job site at about £47m, said the Daily Telegraph. The site is currently owned by eFinancialGroup.

Xansa has secured its first multi-process HR outsourcing deal within the UK financial services sector, by signing a five-year contract with Lloyds TSB. Xansa says it will work with Lloyds TSB to develop, host and support new recruitment and management information platforms and to transform HR processes. The service will be delivered by staff in Xansa's Indian delivery centres.

The Jonathan Lee Group has acquired specialist recruitment firm, John Prodger - the group's second major expansion through acquisition in recent months. The buy adds a fifth regional office to the group and brings annual turnover to over £30m.Send your dealmaking news to: [email protected]
