Maxxima status, TEAM goes bananas, Language sites merge and Skillsmarket get partner
Maxxima status
Public sector recruiters Maxxima has been awarded master vendor status for the supply of temporary allied health professionals and health science service staff to the NHS in the Midlands. The contract runs until April 2009, and will provide the NHS with one point of contact across 28 different health professionals. Maxxima is comprised of Labmed Recruitment and Piers Meadows Recruitment. Maninder Dulku, human resources purchasing manager within the NHS's re:source procurement team, said: "By appointing a master vendor, we simplify the whole process and ensure that one company has total responsibility for candidate screening and recruitment."

TEAM goes bananas
TEAM, the independent recruitment agency and employment services network has formed a strategic alliance with recently launched job search engine, the topbananas.com. Liz Longman, UK director of TEAM said: "Team is pleased to be working with such an innovative and proactive company that listens to the clients' needs."

Language sites merge
Language job board, Toplanguagejobs.com has acquired Languagejobs4u.com, the online language career network.

Skillsmarket get partner
JobServe has entered into a partnership with Skillsmarket. The recruiter's clients can now search against a candidate database of more than 300,000 records.
