European online recruitment company CV-Online says it recorded a 500% growth of job advertisement on its site in the past year; it currently has almost 11,000 job vacancies across nine markets.

Managing director Emma Toth-Plumtree said: “Print media is taking a hit in central and Eastern Europe as online recruitment becomes a firm favourite of recruiters.”

CV-Online, which operates in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Russia and Romania, has 750,000 registered users.
