Bath-based Catering Services International has invested an undisclosed sum on a new bespoke database system called BODS, which was developed by S.Q. Computer Personnel and tested at its offices.

CSI says the system has revolutionised its ability to source and collate information on its 1,000 permanent and temporary staff. “It is also very user friendly and excellent value for money,” added group sales manager Simon James.

The roll out across its 11 offices is expected to be complete within six months.
