Advertising agencies are being invited to bid for a five-year contract to provide recruitment advertising for a local authority.

Southwark Council, a London borough, is asking agencies to bid for the contract, which could be extended for a further year and would start on 1 April next year.

The council currently spends around £1m a year on recruitment advertising and is "looking for a partner to achieve continued efficiencies on its behalf".

Companies are invited to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire, to provide evidence of their financial standing, technical capability and ability, and overall competence.
