Insolvency practitioner SFP has overseen the sale of the recruiters Teddington-based Thejobscompany.co.uk and Empire ML in Chiswick.

Insolvency practitioner SFP has overseen the sale of the recruiters Teddington-based Thejobscompany.co.uk and Empire ML in Chiswick.

All jobs at both recruitment firms have been saved in the process.

Thejobscompany.co.uk employed 15 permanent staff and had run up debts of around £550,000 to creditors, while Empire ML, which employed 12 permanent staff, had debts of more than £300,000.

SFP’s Daniel and Simon Plant were appointed as joint administrators on 8 August, with the sale to former management taking place on 12 August.
