Payroll services firm Pulse Umbrella Group has acquired Umbrella Staff, forming a company that will work with over 300 recruitment consultancies in the UK.

Umbrella Staff works primarily across the IT and healthcare market.

Chris Futcher, chief executive of Pulse Umbrella Group, says: “We will be setting out plans over the coming weeks to embed the Umbrella Staff business within the Pulse Umbrella Group.”

He continues: “This move will also enable Pulse to focus on growing our market share of white collar contractors.”
