International retail financial services group Prudential has appointed Randstad Managed Services (RMS) as exclusive provider of outsourced recruitment services for the firm’s global Momentum programme for future leaders.

RMS will source and review more than 5,000 candidates from more than 100 countries to identify 30 star performers for Prudential’s September intake of the Momentum programme.

Momentum, Prudential’s group-wide leadership programme, covers: commercial management (including new market strategies, insurance operations, IT infrastructure); HR; finance (includes general finance roles, as well as audit, actuarial, risk & compliance); and communications through three two-year placements.

Sophie James, group resourcing and development consultant at Prudential, says: “It was vital that our human capital partner had the right track-record, global infrastructure and consultative approach. Randstad Managed Services have provided us with excellent selection services since 2006 and after a competitive tender, we felt Randstad remained the right partner for us on this complex and high-profile campaign.”

Seb O’Connell, sales director at RMS, says: “We are delighted to extend our relationship with Prudential. Momentum is a world-class programme, so we can expect to receive a very high volume of applications.  We have built leading systems and processes for managing this level of workflow and look forward to providing the Momentum Programme with some of the world’s very best emerging talent”
