Lifestyle magazine Limelight is giving 11-25-year-olds a chance to develop teamwork and communication skills in magazine journalism with the help of London-based recruiter The London Learning Consortium (LLC).

The LLC will be sponsoring the next three issues of Limelight, providingfunding for the printing costs for the next few issues and also distribution costs to Sutton and Merton. The third issue will be published next summer, just ahead of the London 2012 Olympics.

Currently distributed to schools, libraries, youth centres and other places in the London Borough of Croydon, from November Limelight will be available throughout the neighbouring boroughs of Sutton and Merton, and then all over London from next summer.

Stephen Jeffery, chief executive of LLC, said: “LLC is very excited to be involved with Limelight magazine and support the local youth community.”
