Genius Consultancy, the Bristol-based recruitment communications and employer branding specialist, has won the contract to help NYSE Technologies to attract IT staff to its Belfast offices.

NYSE Technologies, the technology division of NYSE Euronext (an S&P 500 index business), is looking to recruit a large number of staff in Belfast.

Speaking about the ongoing contract on which Genius has been working for about a month, Peter Gibbons, managing director of Genius Consultancy, says: “The candidates that NYSE Euronext are trying to attract are in a notoriously difficult sector, so we have devised a recruitment campaign with a particular emphasis on digital media.

“We are also using targeted emails and niche job boards, we ran a highly targeted Google Adwords campaign to drive candidates to a bespoke recruitment website which we designed and built.”

David Peach, NYSE Euronext’s HR director, says: “We were looking for a more innovative approach to attract IT staff and Genius Consultancy’s method of driving candidates to a dedicated recruitment site with an applicant tracking system was key. Their use of highly targeted digital media has helped us to attract quality candidates while reducing our cost and time per hire.”
