Multi-sector recruiter GCS Recruitment Specialists has been appointed strategic recruitment partner to the British Chamber of Commerce’s BCC LinkToChina initiative.

The partnership sees GCS help Chinese companies looking to gain a foothold in the UK, while the firm also hopes to provide opportunities for candidates that wish to work in China and alternatively provide a portal for Chinese citizens that are interested in working in the UK.

GCS managing director, David Bloxham, says: “Our partnership with BCC LinkToChina is a logical progression and an exciting business prospect. Through working regularly with UK Launchpad and the various Chambers of Commerce to help new businesses develop, we thoroughly understand the challenges companies hiring staff in the UK face, especially in the current financial climate. With our experience and candidate network, we are well placed to provide the best talent.”

Dr Kegang Wu, executive director of BCC LinkToChina, says: “I am delighted to welcome GCS as our strategic recruitment partner. To handle international business and investors often requires the highest level of professionalism, experience and extra effort. GCS has been chosen due to its excellent professional standing and because the range of services they provide match with our customers’ needs.”
