Korn/Ferry subsidiary Futurestep Australia has announced a three-year permanent and temporary recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) contract with Australian renewable energy company AGL.

AGL has until now used more than 70 different recruitment agencies to recruit for as many as 600 jobs a year across Australia, which receive an average of between 30,000 and 40,000 applications.

The two organisations have been operating a pilot programme over the past two years.

Stephen McSweeney, AGL’s talent acquisition manager, says the newly created team will be known AGL Careers and cover “the majority” of the firm’s recruitment needs.
