Financial, legal and consultancy recruiter Definitive Consulting has entered into a strategic alliance with New York-based legal specialist AW Rush & Co. 

The agreement sees the two firms initially collaborate on international search and selection projects, and cross-border recruitment briefs. 

Darren James, founder and managing director, Definitive Consulting, says: “This agreement is the culmination of a great deal of work from our own legal team, first to identify the right partner and then to negotiate an alliance that benefits both sides in an increasingly internationalised legal employment market. 

“This is part of an international expansion effort which is predicated on creating either a branded presence or working partnership in key markets where there is a clear client need and, therefore, an immediate market opportunity for us.”
