Private equity firm Symphony Technology Group has bought First Advantage, an international provider of workforce solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, First Advantage will operate as a portfolio company of the Symphony Technology Group.

The current chief executive of First Advantage, Todd Mavis, will remain in that position in the company.
