Mexican industrial food company Grupo Azucarero Mexico (GAM) is to implement talent management solutions provider StepStone Solutions’ Talent Management system for its sugar mills and corporate office.

The solution will aim to support GAM in better planning, managing and evaluating employees’ performance, putting appropriate career development plans in place, and building a talent pool.

Humberto López, HR director at Grupo Azucarero Mexico, says: “The sugar cane industry lags behind in many key business processes and technology is not widely used.

“The use of StepStone Solutions’ integrated talent management system is fundamental to supporting an HR strategy aimed at creating a results-orientated organisation that supports business growth, that develops our people skills to make them multifunctional and starts developing our talent pipeline.”
