International recruiter Empresaria’s Headway brand has now taken a majority shareholding in Hungary-based recruiter Summers Group. 

Summers Group specialises in recruiting staff prepared to work in other countries within Europe and plans to establish closer connections with the German staffing market. This is ahead of relaxation of immigration rules in Germany relating to the newer EU member states which takes effect in May.

Klaus Wrezounik, chief executive of Headway International, says: “Germany will open its labour market in May 2011, which creates great opportunities. With the acquisition of the majority of Summers Group we plan to cover the staffing needs of our larger clients in the food retail sector and have secured a recruitment market for qualified staff for the metal industry and healthcare.”
