YouView, a joint venture between some of the UK’s biggest broadcasters (BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and ITV) and broadband internet companies, has signed a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) contract with in-sourced recruitment solution firm cph.

Caroline Taylor, YouView’s head of HR, says: “Following a thorough tendering and selection process we appointed cph because we had most confidence in their ability to build a direct candidate sourcing model, and were impressed by the quality of their proposed on-site recruitment team.”

Jerry Wright, cph’s joint managing director, adds: “We are delighted to be partnering with YouView at this very exciting stage in their development – their set top box has the potential to revolutionise the TV market. Hiring the right calibre of technical, creative, commercial and support staff will be critical to their success.”
