Public sector staffing specialist The Capita Group is in discussions with Zurich Financial Services Group over a potential extension of Capita’s existing contract.

The contract, which administers some of the processes for Zurich’s UK operations, will widen its scope to support some of Zurich Global Life’s administration hubs in Europe and the Middle East.

Capita says a comprehensive assessment of the proposal will be undertaken over the coming months while any resulting arrangement will be subject to contract agreement and regulatory approvals.

Capita adds there is no assurance that an agreement will be reached, and a further announcement will be made if and when appropriate.
