Contracts: Capita acquires Premier Medical Group

The Capita Group has acquired Premier Medical Group (PMG), a provider of medical reporting and screening service for £60m.

The Capita Group has acquired Premier Medical Group (PMG), a provider of medical reporting and screening service for £60m.

PMG predicts an operating profit for its financial year to 31 December 2010 of £8m on turnover of £51.2m.

Paul Pindar, chief executive of The Capita Group, says: “This acquisition will add important new expertise to Capita’s range of health services, enabling us to provide of a full suite of medical reporting and screening services. The deal also further demonstrates Capita’s commitment to, and investment in, the health sector.”
