Dalkia BioEnergy has appointed Astute Technical Recruitment to recruit all staff for its new biomass plant at Chilton near Durham.

Dalkia BioEnergy has appointed Astute Technical Recruitment to recruit all staff for its new biomass plant at Chilton near Durham.

The plant, a £40m build, is due to become operational in Q1 2011.

Astute’s managing director, Terry Buckel, says: “We’re delighted to be supporting Dalika BioEnergy on the Chilton biomass project. We’ve demonstrated recently with Cory’s Riverside Energy from Waste project that we’re skilled at crewing-up major new power plants. We’re full steam ahead, sourcing a range of mechanical, electrical, and controls and instrumentation engineers, operators and technicians.”
