Rising numbers of companies are seeking insolvency-related legal advice, according to  find-a-solicitor service Contact Law.

The research reveals a 72% increase in enquiries relating to insolvency between January and July 2011, compared to the same period last year. 

Contract Law says May and June 2011 were the busiest months to date for insolvency-related enquiries, with calls and emails from concerned individuals and businesses up 173% and 127% on corresponding months in 2010.
