North American executive search firm, Lucas Group, has opened a legal recruiting practice in its Chicago office, headed up by Tamara Klein and David Winston.

North American executive search firm, Lucas Group, has opened a legal recruiting practice in its Chicago office, headed up by Tamara Klein and David Winston.

Winston comes to Lucas Group from Winston & Green, where he was co-founder of an executive search firms in the Midwest in the US.

Klein was vice-president of Attorney Recruiting at Schulman Professional Search and has practiced with firms such as Holland & Knight and McDermott Will & Emery.

Tom Williamson, vice-president and general manager of Lucas Group’s legal division, says: “This team will focus on the Chicago area and the Midwest. But as with every group within our firm, we work in an integrated fashion to solve legal recruiting challenges throughout North America.”

The new legal recruiting group will focus on recruiting for law firms and corporations and will specialise in corporate counsel, associate and partner search.

It is the eighth legal recruiting office for Lucas Group, which has 15 executive recruiting offices.
