The survey shows almost one in six respondents said that the entire careers service in their area was due to close or had already closed, while half say their employer had already made redundancies or issued “at risk” notices.

Almost one in six are expecting redundancies within the next two to four months and a quarter have already been made redundant or received a redundancy notice.

One in six say their employer has already planned for an online service to replace face-to-face guidance.
