HR recruitment: HR candidates “oblivious” to downturn

The downturn has not affected movement of candidates in the HR recruitment sector, a recruiter has claimed.

Caroline Foote, managing director at Career Moves, told Recruiter that HR managers and HR partners were still looking for new challenges.

Foote said: “In terms of candidates, there seems to be of plenty of people out there. Up to a certain level, people are oblivious of what is going on in the wider market place. Junior candidates are looking for first and second jobs and that’s busy. At the mid-range, people are still looking to move. They don’t seem to be at all worried about a downturn and recession.”
