Callagher resigns from Kelly Services
John Callagher has resigned from his position as general manager of workforce management company Kelly Services (UK), with effect from 16 July.
Callagher was responsible for Kelly Services UK and Ireland staffing operations and financial recruitment arm, Toner Graham.
Since his appointment in February 2010, Callagher played an important role in implementing the UK and Irish operations’ strategy, as well as bringing on board a number of senior level hires to strengthen Kelly’s management team and leaves Kelly Services with a team in place that will continue to drive the business forward.
Andrew Cook, Kelly Services’ financial director, will head up the senior team on an interim basis until a full-time replacement is appointed. Cook says: “We wish John all the best for the future, and now I look forward to working with the senior team. We have a great level of experience throughout the organisation and the future is looking bright.”
Leif Agnéus, senior vice-president, EMEA, says: “We would like to thank John for the energy he has put into our UK and Irish operations during his time with us. The UK and Ireland will continue to be key markets for Kelly Services and we are committed to hiring a replacement for John with the expertise to consolidate the strategies he implemented and to drive our operations up to the next level.”
