Blackpool has seen the largest gain in new job creations among UK cities, according to SimplyHired.co.uk’s July UK Employment Outlook.

The report reveals London saw the smallest increase in job creation along with Bradford, with just 4.7% growth in new jobs.

Gautam Godhwani, chief executive at SimplyHired.co.uk, says: “June saw an increase in job vacancies in the major cities, indicating a renewed optimism throughout the UK. These findings are in line with a recent survey conducted by the Confederation of British Industry, which found that one-third of employers plan to take on more permanent staff before the end of the year.”
