Broadbean plans network to post all over the world

Broadbean already has a pan-European deal with Google in place and has announced its first global deal with Manpower. It has also secured a deal with another major US recruitment company ahead of the launch of a Los Angeles office towards the end of this year.
Broadbean managing director Dan McGuire told Recruiter that most of his company's clients use job boards in the countries where they have their operations even though the position they are looking to fill might be elsewhere. He said: "What's wrong with saying 'we're looking for someone to do a job in the UK and we don't care where we source them?'"
"Employers are getting good at this international advertising but agencies are still playing catch-up. Building a global network of job boards allows for both scenarios."
One of the factors that influenced the decision to kick off the global network in Amsterdam was that the market already embraces multi-posting. "Holland has a lot of recruiters and a lot of job boards and people already use multi-posting," explained McGuire. He adds that Broadbean has signed a major deal with a Dutch recruitment agency.
The company will serve the Belgian market from Holland and for France it has recruited more French-speaking staff in its London office. "We're not just saying we can send your job anywhere, but that we can provide a multi-lingual system and can support you in your own language and time zone as well."
Apart from plans for moving into the competitive US market, Broadbean is also looking at opening an office in Asia, most likely in 2009.
