Broadbean, which provides multiple job posting and applicant source tracking services, has announced an exclusive partnership with the online referral and reward recruiter, Zubka.
A channel has been set up so that any of Broadbean's clients can post vacancies through its AdCourier posting system to Zubka for free.
"Referral systems aren't something that have been well-used with job posting companies in the past, so this is an important integration for the industry," Broadbean's managing director, Dan McGuire, told Recruiter.
Broadbean processes 1.5m job adverts on behalf of 15,000 recruiters across the UK and Europe. It claims to have 60% of the UK's top 250 staffing businesses among its clients.
"Zubka is designed to work best with harder-to-fill roles, the type you don't necessarily fill through traditional web sources," said McGuire. "The key is to get lots of different types of jobs on the site to see which work best — we've got the necessary volume to do that."
Whether an individual could make a living out of Zubka was the subject of a recent blog by McGuire (blog.broadbean.co.uk). At the time the top reward on the site was £12,000. "If you're well connected, it is feasible to assume you could earn an income from referrals," he said.
Broadbean's clients have reacted enthusiastically to the partnership. John Buffey, head of digital media at Barkers, whose own clients include Accenture, HM Prison Service, McDonald's and O2, said: "Broadbean's relationship with Zubka further enables us to seamlessly incorporate multiple network approaches into every campaign."
