Survey finds that British employees are taking up to five weeks holiday this year
More than a quarter of British workers are taking up to five weeks holiday this year, according to a survey by FFS and Crone Corkhill.
However 27% of people admitted that prior to going away they work until midnight, and 16% said they find themselves working on the way to the airport and even on the plane.
The survey found that 42% of people call their office at least once during their holiday.
The poll found that 25% of people do not take their full holiday entitlement due to pressure from their boss or fear that it may harm their careers.
